Relaxing Sunday !

The Cherry Cheese Cake, my favorite sweet stuffs, made by my hubby. Today seems relaxing, quiet and beautiful (even though no sunshine) at my house. We plan to enjoy peacefully with cooking a little BBQ outside my backyard deck this evening. However I already started the day with a piece of cake :)  well, {not to be sad} he made this for me, before I'm going away to spend time with my parent oversea.  by the way, Life is still full of many positive ways to see and feel, even you are in the difficult turns.

adding items on miovintage shop

 I just added many new accessories on etsy.com/shop/miovintage the {modern}vintage online shop. 

I must still say that I am new with blogging. I feel I have to take too much time to learn/ add  a gadget or new stuffs on this blog. Even though it's always fun to learn the new things for me, but sometime a bit stuck and frustrated about the codes {copy&paste}. well well well, I finally got one new done "Grab this {my} button" today

now the problem is coming that is "how to try it on- like how to invite someone to add my button to their blog or site" ?!! ?  hmmm  

I feel hard to commit the fact that, ... not only you can design the beautiful art pieces for people to see, but you must need to learn how to make it work on www in these days !

while earthquake happened....

Well,  I didn't hear the earthquake news while I was shopping craft materials out yesterday, and It was happening at the same hours too ( around 1-2pm). I want to write this odd impact to my journey {blog}  because it was a big interesting and doubt for me (and scared a little)  that  the earthquake would shake hundred miles away from michigan across to the east coast (virginia  and ny )

What I did feel while shopping { without knowing what's happening} was dizzy and heavy-headed all day which was not me at all. I hardly feel sick for years.  My area wasn't effected though, but this was the Big news all day, also remind me of {the world in danger } Just saying ! Hope there is no bad aftershock after all.

By the way, I at least came home to finish one of the black&white newspaper Ad.  Let adding it to my blog :)

{window } S h o p p i n g craft day !

I've always shopped around (vintage shop, junkies street, craft store, free mails..so on. But  I like the most at Michaels because of their weekly 40% off coupon  :P   well,  right now I am not supposed to buy any more items because I am between moving to abroad. and no more room in my luggage and also time.

{Actualy, I often buy only the craft tools or raw materials because I personally think the scrapbook or finished products package nowadays are  much more expensive. Luckily, my style I prefer to make every things by myself , it's more enjoyable , yes it takes too much time but it's also good practice of meditation for me. Second, I love the concept of reuse / recreate / recycle products-around-me to be useful things again. Imaginably, It's only a precious handmade craft in the {me} world}

however, it is no hurt to go and look around like " Window Shopping"  or may be  J U S T  to get  A little new distress ink I need :P

I have many of my small photos of family and friends and little stickers. They are my love ones, so I looked around, saw colorful papers and ribbons around my house. I started to create a theme and thought of making album to put them all together with my heart.

I have made the mini albums in different theme before [as  custom order made, but never thought of collecting pictures of my craft]   I'm great I finally took my courage
